To confirm and hold your reservation, a credit card deposit or cheque for 50% of the total is required.
Cancellation Policy: All funds, less a $25 booking fee per room booked, will be refunded if cancellation is made not less than 14 days prior to the arrival date. Guests checking out before the last day of a multiple day reservation must pay for all days reserved if the room cannot be re-rented.
Payment & Taxes: We accept payment by credit card, cash or personal cheque. Rates are quoted in Canadian dollars. A GST tax of 5% will apply to all charges.
Arrival / Departure Times: Check In: 3:00pm – 5:00pm, Check Out: 11:00am. Arrival times later than 5:00pm must be scheduled in advance. Please call and confirm your arrival plans one week before your reservation date so that someone can greet and show you to your house or cottage.
Length of Stay: The Log House requires a 3 night minimum booking. The Green Cottage requires a 2 night minimim except during holidays which require a 3 night booking. Extended stays (over 2 weeks) are possible, please inquire.
Children & Pets: Foxglove is both family-friendly and pet-friendly. Children of all ages are welcome, as are pets. A pet charge of $30 applies, and pets must be kept under control at all times. Dogs in the log house are limited to the indoor porch area only.
Additional Guests: For units filled above the stated sleeping capacity, an extra guest charge of $30 per person.
Smoking: Smoking is NOT PERMITTED in any of the accommodations. All our rooms and buildings are designated as non-smoking.
Foxglove Farm crops
Meals & Beverages: Our accommodations are “self-catered”; guests are responsible for providing all their own meals and beverages. A wide range of provisions and supplies are available in the nearby town of Ganges, featuring a full-service supermarket, a variety of gourmet and specialty food shops, a wine & liquor store — plus of course, the popular Tuesday and Saturday Market and numerous organic farm stands throughout the island. Organically-grown fruits, vegetables, and eggs are available for purchase onsite at Foxglove Farm.
Harvest List: A list of fruits and vegetables and eggs available for sale from the farm will be in your lodging when you arrive. You can also contact us one week in advance and we can have a selection of seasonal produce waiting in your refrigerator.
Accessibility: Unfortunately, our accommodations are not wheelchair accessible.
Off-Season Rates: Off-season rates are available, please inquire. High Season: May 1st – Sept 30th, Low Season: Oct 1st – April 30th (major holidays excluded).
